Organizations we support

Each year, we strive to donate not only monetarily, but also our time and volunteer hours throughout the community to benefit numerous charities, groups, and national organizations.

We support the Fair Association through donations and volunteer hours, helping to make the annual event a success for families and exhibitors.

MCLEA Scholarship

MCLEA awards two $500 scholarships annually to help kids advance their livestock projects at the Montgomery County Fair or East Montgomery County Fair.

Direct support for young agricultural leaders

*Applicants must be a child, grandchild, or dependent of an active MCLEA member in good standing.

Requirements

How to submit your essay

A 250 word essay will be submitted to the MCLEA board. The essay should include information about the livestock project for the 2026 Fair, experiences showing animals, how they intend to utilize the scholarship, etc.

The essays will be read and evaluated by the MCLEA board and two recipients will be determined.

Deadline to submit is noon on November 30, 2025.

The submission deadline for the 2025 scholarship has passed. Check back next year.
